Miele built-in hoods allow for an application where the hood is built into cabinetry supplied by the consumer. Using a built-in hood allows you to either hide the hood in cabinetry above the cooktop, or feature the hood by creating a custom canopy that perfectly matches with the rest of your kitchen.

Miele ventilation hoods have 10-layer stainless steel grease filters. The outer layer and frame are made from high quality stainless steel. Cleaning in a dishwasher does not affect the appearance of these filters, so you know your Miele cooker hood will keep its good looks for a long time.

The automatic run-on function can be used to ensure that vapours and odours are thoroughly removed from the kitchen after cooking. The fan can be set to continue running for 5 or 15 minutes after cooking has finished before switching itself off automatically.

The intensive setting offers a very high air throughput level and is intended for shortterm operation, for instance when flash frying food that has a tendency to smoke or give off intense vapours. It can be programmed to automatically switch down to setting 3 after a period of 10 minutes.
